Becoming part of the College Community

The main criteria for entrance to this course is an interest and aptitude in agriculture and related areas, and a positive attitude towards residential, college and rural life.

Students need to have completed Year 9 or 10 and achieved satisfactory results in Math, Science and English. Units in Agriculture and Design and Technology would also be beneficial, but are not essential.
 
WACE subjects are offered in Foundation and General for a VET or ATAR pathway according to student goals and educational/career pathway.

NATIONALLY RECOGNISED CERTIFICATES WACOA Morawa is a Registered Training Organisation offering the following National Training Packages:
AHC20116 Certificate II in Agriculture
AHC30116 Certificate III in Agriculture (new in 2020)
AUR20716 Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation
MEM20413 Certificate II in Engineering Pathways

ACM20221 Certificate II in Horse Care

Completion of these qualifications together with the Western Australian Certificate of Education gives (WACE) students a significant employment and further education and training advantage on graduation. Where possible, delivery of Certificate qualifications occurs in conjunction with classroom subjects.
